1 pk Yeast; (1 1/2 tsp)
3 c Bread flour; (2 cups)
2 tb Sugar; (4 tsp)
2 ts Salt; (1 1/2 tsp)
2 tb Butter; Cool, Cut In Pcs,
–4 T–
3/4 c Milk; 80 deg,(1/2 c)
1/4 c Water; 80 deg,(1/4 c)
SETTING: White Bread, MEDIUM
10 o’clock
An attractive egg-rich bread, excellent for sandwiches and toast. This
bread may be made completely in the bread machine or shaped into a twisted
loaf and baked in a conventional oven.
(This is one of our “standard” sandwich breads – dried out it also makes
great teething biscuits!)
