Ingrients & Directions
1 c “Herman” starter 1/4 ts Salt
1 c Flour 1 ea Egg
2 1/4 ts Baking powder 2 tb Oil
1/4 ts Baking soda 1/2 c Milk (or more for thinner)
Mix well all ingredients. (Up to 3/4 c milk depending on desired
thickness). Using scant 1/4 cup batter per pancake, bake on well-
greased, preheated griddle or skillet about 3 minutes or until tops
are bubbly and edges brown. Turn; bake other side about 3 minutes
or until golden. Makes 10 large pancakes.
