1/3 c Tomato catsup
2 ts Lemon juice
5 c Thinly sliced peeled apples,
1 x (I like the tartness of Gran
3/4 c Granulated sugar
3/4 c All-purpose flour
1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Ground allspice
1/3 c Butter or margarine, softene
1 ea Unbaked 9-inch pie shell
Blend catsup and lemon juice; combine with apples. Combine sugar,
flour, cinnamon and allspice; cut in butter until thoroughly mixed.
Fill pie shell (I cheat and use frozen Ms. Smith’s) with apples,
