1 c Shortening 1 ts Baking soda
2 c Brown sugar 1 ts Vanilla
3 Eggs 2 c Orange slice candies, cut up
3 c Flour 1/2 c Nuts, chopped
1 ts Cream of tartar
Cream shortening; add sugar and eggs. Beat well. Add sifted dry
ingredients. Add vanilla, nuts and orange pieces. Drop by
teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees until
