1 1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Shortening
TOPPING
1 tb Butter
1 Egg
1 tb Cinnamon
1 c Buttermilk
1/2 c Sugar
1 ts Salt
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Flour
2 c Finely chopped rhubarb

Here’s a couple of my favorite rhubarb recipes. They are easy and fast.
They are great recipes for kids to do because there really is no way to
ruin them. I made up the 2nd recipe because we needed a dessert for
company. The kids ended up eating most of it! I would love any comments on
the cake- whether you liked it or not.
mix everything except the rhubarb together in a large bowl. jStir in
rhubarb. Pour into 9 x 13 pan. Combine topping and sprinkle over batter.
Bake in preheated oven @350 degrees for 30-35 minutes.
