Apple-nut Cake

Ingrients & Directions


2 1/3 c Quick mix 1/4 c Milk
1 c Sugar brown 2 c Apples; pared and grated
1 ts Cinnamon 1/2 c Raisins
1/2 ts Cloves 1/2 c Chopped nuts
2 Eggs; slightly beaten

Mix dry ingredients then add milk and eggs. Add apples and stir in
raisins and nuts. Pour in 8″ greased pan. Cook for 40-50 minutes at
375 degrees. Cool on wire rack.

Banana-Nut Cake: omit raisins. Substitute 1 C mashed bananas for
apples.
