Cornish Cinnamon Cake

Ingrients & Directions


6 Egg whites
1/2 lb Castor sugar; (230gm)
8 oz Sifted S.R. flour; (220gm)
1/2 lb Butter; (230gm)
Cinnamon – powdered

Beat the egg whites until firm froth is obtained and then stir in the
castor sugar, then the butter and finally the sifted flour, mixing it
lightly all the time. When mixed add sufficient powdered cinnamon to
obtain the desired colour. pour the mixture into a well buttered cake
tin and bake for 45 minutes in a pre-heated medium to hot oven about
350 degrees F (177 degrees C).
