1 c Heavy cream 3/4 c Maple syrup
1 c Milk 1 ea Pie shell, 9-inch,
4 ea Eggs -partially baked
Preheat oven to 325. Combine the cream and milk in a saucepan and
heat until scaled. Beat the eggs for a minute until they are foamy.
Stir in 1/2 cup maple syrup. Slowly add the hot cream mixture to the
egg mixture, stirring constantly. Pour the custard into the pie
shell and bake for 30 minutes. Don’t over bake; the center should
tremble slightly when the pie is gently shaken. Remove from oven and
cool. Just before serving drizzle the remaining 1/4 cup of maple
syrup over the top.
