Spam And Gravy On Biscuits

Ingrients & Directions


1 cn Refrigerated large
-buttermilk biscuits
1 cn Spam luncheon meat – (12
-oz); chopped
1/4 c Chopped onion
2 tb Butter or margarine
2 tb Flour
Freshly-ground black pepper;
-to taste
2 c Milk

Prepare biscuits according to package directions.

In a large skillet over medium-heat, saute Spam and onion in butter until
Spam is lightly browned. Stir in flour and pepper. Cook 1 minute, stirring
constantly. Stir in milk. Cook, stirring occasionally, until mixture just
comes to a boil. Reduce heat to medium. Cook, stirring occasionally, until
gravy is thickened. Serve over hot biscuits.

This recipe yields 8 servings.
