Corn Bread Beef Pie

Ingrients & Directions


2 lb Ground beef
1 tb Shortening
1/2 ts Pepper
1 cn Whole kernel corn
1 Cut up onion
1 cn Tomatoes
1 ts Salt
1 Cut up green pepper
1/4 ts Garlic powder

Brown beef in skillet with onion and pepper. Then add tomatoes, corn and
seasoning and 1 tablespoon celery flakes. Bring to boil and simmer 10
minutes. Pour into 3-quart casserole.

In small mixing bowl sift: 1/2 c. cornmeal 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. sugar
