Cabbage & Mushroom Filling For Pierogies

Ingrients & Directions


Cabbage
1/3 c Water
1 ts Salt
1 lg Onion — halved and sliced
1/4 ts Pepper
4 oz Mushrooms — stems and
Pieces
2 Eggs; hardcooked — chopped
2 tb Butter or margarine

Combine the cabbage, water, onion, mushrooms and butter in a large
saucepan. Cook covered over low heat till tender, about 30 min. Add
salt pepper and chopped eggs; mix well. Makes about 3 1/2 cups
