6 Eggs
1/2 lb Sugar
3 tb Very fine breadcrumbs
3/4 lb Shelled walnuts
1. Grind walnuts
2. Whip egg whites until they form soft peaks
3. Add yolks 1 at a time while whipping.
4. Add 2 T breadcrumbs and walnuts by hand.
5. Butter a tube pan and sprinkle it with the rest of the breadcrumbs.
6. Bake in a 350 F oven until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out
clean.
NOTES : This cake is delicious as is or filled with “Baba de Mo?” (
coconut egg cream)
