Really Good Banana Bread

Ingrients & Directions


2 c Flour
1/2 ts Baking powder
1 ts Baking soda
1/2 ts Salt
1/2 ts Ground cinnamon
1/2 c Butter, room temperature
1/2 c Packed brown sugar
1/2 c White sugar
2 Eggs
1/2 c Plain yogurt
1 c Pureed ripe bananas (about
2 medium bananas)
1 ts Vanilla extract

(makes one loaf) Grease a 9″ x 5″ loaf pan and set aside. Preheat
oven to 350F. In large bowl, combine first five ingredients; set
aside. In small bowl, cream butter and beat in both sugars; continue
beating one minute more. Beat in eggs one at a time. Beat in yogurt,
bananas and vanilla. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Turn
into prepared pan, smooth top. Bake 55 to 60 minutes or till wooden
pick inserted in center comes out clean. Let stand in pan 10 minutes
then turn out onto rack to cool. Enjoy! Susan McGinn
