Pumpernickel Bread

Ingrients & Directions


1 c bread flour
1 tb powdered milk
2/3 c rye flour
1 ts salt
1/3 c wheat flour
7/8 c water
1/4 c cornmeal
3 tb molasses
2 tb cocoa
1 tb butter
1 1/2 tb quick rising yeast

I make this on the crisp dough setting which is a 4 hour cycle and
then turn it out shape put in bread pan and let rise till doubled
bake in the oven this really needs a long rise time but its good also
add a couple of teaspoons of caraway seeds. If you don’t have a crisp
dough setting then just leave in machine an extra hour after it
