1 1/4 Lb Loaf:
1 Egg
1/2 c Water; plus
3 tb Water
2 tb Olive oil
1 ts Lemon juice
2 tb Powdered milk
1 ts Salt
2 ts Sugar
1/4 ts White pepper
1/3 c Potato flakes; or buds
1 tb Chives, freeze-dried
1 1/3 c Bread flour
3/4 c Semolina flour
2 ts Active dry yeast; (rapid
-rise)
Load bread machine with ingredients in the appropriate order, according to
your machine’s instructions. Set machine on lightest crust setting. Makes
1-1/4 pound loaf. This recipe works perfectly in a Panasonic 1-pound
machine. Water may have to be increased or reduced for other machines.
