French Herb Bread

Ingrients & Directions


-FOR 1 1/2 LB. LOAF-
7/8 c (7 oz.) water
1 tb Vegetable oil; (I used
-Canola)
1 Egg
3/4 ts Salt; optional
1 tb Sugar
1/8 ts Garlic powder
1/8 ts Italian seasoning
1/3 ts Oregano; dried
1/3 ts Basil; dried
1/3 ts Thyme; dried
1 tb Parmesan cheese; grated
3 c Bread flour
2 1/2 tb Dry milk powder
1 1/2 ts Rapid or quick yeast

(Note: The directions said: “If using the ‘green can’ Parmesan cheese, omit
the salt.” Well, I use the ‘green can’ Parmesan cheese so omitted the salt.
Next time I shall include the salt! I do not have a way of measuring 1/3
tsp. of anything, so had to guess with the herbs……we found that my
‘guessing’ was a bit off…..I shall increase the herbs a GREAT DEAL next
time…..! Good luck!)
