1 c Cherry preserves 1/4 ts Allspice
1 tb Margarine 1/8 ts Salt
1/2 ts Lemon peel; finely shredded ds Ground cloves
2 tb Lemon juice 2 1/2 lb Chicken pieces; meaty
1/2 ts Cinnamon
For sauce, in small saucepan combine cherry preserves, margarine,
lemon peel, lemon juice, cinnamon, allspice, salt and cloves. Cook
and stir until thickened. Remove skin from chicken, if desired.
Rinse chicken; pat dry. Preheat gas grill. Place chicken, bone side
up, on grill rack over medium heat. Cover and grill for 35 to 45
minutes (or 50 to 60 minutes with indirect grilling), turning once
halfway through. 519 calories and 16 grams fat.
