Peanut Butter Bread

Ingrients & Directions


2 c Flour
1/3 c Sugar
2 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
3/4 c Peanut butter; creamy or
-chunky
1 c Milk
1 Egg; beaten

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease an 8-by-4-inch loaf pan.

2. Put the flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl.

3. Add the peanut butter, milk and egg and mix until well-blended.

4. Spoon into the pan and bake for about 50 minutes.

5. Remove pan from oven and cool on a rack. Makes 1 loaf.

Per serving: 158 calories; 7.1 g fat (1.7 g saturated fat; 40 % CFF, 15 g
carbohydrates; 15 mg cholesterol; 154 mg sodium.

Notes Tried 04/05/98 – Would use chrunchy peanut butter next time. Also
coudl poke holes into batter and fill with Jam. From the Recipe Files of
