Shepard’s Pie – Low Fat/low Salt

Ingrients & Directions


1 1/2 lb Lean ground beef
1 sm Onion — finely chopped
Parsley flakes
Pepper (to taste)
1 cn Corn (no salt added or low
Salt) — drained
Instant mashed potatoes

Mix first four ingredients and brown in frying pan.

While meat is browning, prepare mashed potatoes, according to package

directions omitting salt, for 4-6 servings (depending how many people
you are serving). Using slotted spoon place meat mixture into baking
dish draining grease from meat as you go. Spread corn over meat.
Spoon potatoes over corn leaving small peaks. Bake in 350 oven 10-20
mins or until peaks are lightly browned.
