2 tb Fine dry bread crumbs
3 c Self-rising flour
2 tb Sugar
1 c Shredded cheddar cheese
12 oz Beer
1 -(up to)
2 tb Butter; melted

Note: This easy-to-make bread uses only 6 simple ingredients. Preheat the
oven to 350F. Grease a 9×5 loaf pan and sprinkle it generously with the
dry bread crumbs. Shake out any excess bread crumbs. In a large mixing
bowl, combine the flour, sugar and cheese. Stir to mix. Add the beer and
mix well. Pour the stiff batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 45
minutes. Brush with the melted butter. Bake for an additional 10 to 15
minutes, until golden. Serve warm, with butter. Serves 8.
