Arizona Pecan And Date Pie

Ingrients & Directions


3 tb Butter or margarine 1 c Dark corn syrup
1/3 c Sugar 12 ea Dates, pitted and cut into
3 ea Eggs -pieces
1/4 ts Salt 3/4 c Chopped pecans
1 ts Vanilla extract Pastry for 1 crust, 9 inch
1 tb All purpose flour -pie, unbaked

Cream butter with sugar. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Beat in salt
and vanilla. Add flour and blend well. Add corn syrup. Fold in
dates and pecans. Pour into pastry lined 9 inch pie pan. Bake in
preheated slow oven (325F) for 45 minutes, or until set. Makes 6
