Blackberry Cake With Icing

Ingrients & Directions


3 c Flour 1 ts Baking soda
2 c Sugar 1 ts Baking powder
1/2 c Butter 1/2 ts Cinnamon
1 c Mashed blackberries 1/2 ts Nutmeg
1 c Blackberry juice 2 tb Cocoa
2 Eggs

Mix butter, sugar and eggs. Add dry ingredients alternately with
berries and juice. Pour in a 13 x 9 x 2 inch pan and bake at 325
degrees for 45 minutes.

Icing: 1 cup powdered sugar 2 tb. cocoa 2 tb. butter enough hot
coffee to make a paste for desired consistency Spread on the cake.
