2 c Sugar
2 c Flour
1/2 lb Butter
1 c Coca cola
3 tb Cocoa
1/2 c Buttermilk
2 Eggs
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Miniature marshmallows
-ICING-
1/4 lb Butter
6 tb Coke
1 lb Powdered sugar
1 ts Vanilla
3 tb Cocoa
1 c Toasted pecans or almonds
Or both
For the Cake
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Combine flour and sugar, mix well. Heat butter, coke, cocoa and
bring to a boiling point. Pour over flour and sugar. Add
buttermilk, eggs, baking soda and vanilla. Mix well. Then add
marshmallows and pour into a 9 x 13 x 2 inch greased cake pan. The
marshmallows will rise to the top during the baking. Bake 30 to 35
minutes.
Icing Directions.
Cream butter, add remaining ingredients beat well. Pour over cake
while still in the pan. This cake will keep for days.
