Yeast Crumb Cake

Ingrients & Directions


1 pk (or cake) Yeast
1/3 c Sugar
2 tb Lukewarm water
1/3 c Lukewarm milk
2 c Flour — sifted
4 tb Butter
2 Eggs
1/4 ts Salt
3 tb Melted butter

TOPPING
4 tb Melted butter
4 tb Sugar
2 ts Cinnamon
1 c Flour — sifted

Combine the yeast, 1 tablespoon sugar and the water in a small bowl.
Set aside for 5 minutes. Stir in the milk and 1/2 cup flour. Cover
and set aside to rise in a warm placeuntil double in bulk. Cream
the butter, gradually adding the remaining sugar
