2 3/4 c Cake flour, sifted
1 1/2 c Sugar
2 ts Baking powder
1 1/4 ts Salt
1 c Crisco shortening,
-butter flavored
3/4 c Milk
1 ts Orange extract
1 ts Lemon extract

Preheat oven to 375. Combine cake flour, sugar, baking powder,
and salt in large mixer bowl. Add Crisco, about 1/2 cup milk, and
extracts. Beat for 2 minutes at medium speed; scrape bowl

Turn batter into a greased and floured 9″ tube pan. Bake 375 for 45
minutes until toothpick comes out clean. Cool cake for 30 minutes in
pan on a rack, remove from pan and cool on rack. Frost as desired, or
serve plain, or serve with fresh fruit or ice cream.
