Porter House Hot Cakes

Ingrients & Directions


2 c Flour 2 c Milk
2 tb Sugar 2 tb Butter — melted
4 ts Baking Powder 1/2 ts Vanilla
1/2 ts Salt dr Yellow Food Coloring
2 Eggs — beaten

Sift flour, sugar, baking powder and salt together in a mixing bowl.
Combine eggs, milk, melted butter, vanilla, and food coloring and
whisk until smooth. Make a well in dry ingredients and add the
liquid, beating rapidly until well moistened.

Coat griddle with vegetable spray and heat to medium high. Bake on hot
griddle until bubbles appear, then flip. Cook other side until golden
brown. Makes 18 three-inch hot cakes.
