Potato Fried Cakes

Ingrients & Directions


1 c Mashed potatoes 1 c Buttermilk
2 c Sugar 1 ts Baking soda
3 tb Melted lard 2 ts Baking powder
3 Eggs Salt
3 c Flour Nutmeg

Mix all ingredients together. Roll out on floured board and cut with
round cookie cutter. Drop one-by-one in a deep fryer and cook to a
light brown. Drain.
