3 c Flour
2 c Sugar
6 tb Cocoa
2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Salt
12 tb Melted butter or butter
-substitute
2 tb White vinegar
2 ts Vanilla
2 c Cold water

Mix dry ingredients together and sift into ungreased baking pan (approx
13×9). Make three holes in this dry mixture. Pour vanilla into one hole,
vinegar into the second, and the melted butter into the third. Pour cold
water over all. Stir with a fork until blended. Bake at 350 degrees for 40
minutes.
