1 pk Devil’s food cake mix
1 cn Cherry pie filling
2 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
TOPPING
1 c Sugar
1 Stick butter or margarine
1/4 c Evaporated milk
6 oz Chocolate chips
1/2 c Pecans or walnuts; chopped
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix first 4 ingredients. Bake in a 9x13x2 inch
pan for 30 to 35 minutes.
*** Topping *** In saucepan, combine sugar, butter and evaporated milk.
Bring to a boil over low heat. Boil for 1 minute. Add chocolate chips and
nuts. Immediately pour over hot cake. Can be served hot or cold. Very rich.
