1 c Stewed raisins — with
Juice
1 To 2 cups
1/2 c Raisins — optional
1/2 c Butter
1 c Honey or sugar
1 Eggs
1 1/2 To 2 cups
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Baking powder
1 ts Cloves
2 ts Cinnamon
1/2 ts Allspice
1/2 ts Nutmeg
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 c Milk
Chopped walnuts
Cake flour
Combine butter and sugar. Beat in eggs. Combine Glugg drained from fruit,
milk and juice from stewed raisins to make one cup. In separate bowl
combine flour, soda, baking powder and spices. Add Glugg mix and flour mix
to butter, alternately in three parts. Add fruit, nuts and vanilla. Bake in
greased and floured TUBE pan at 350 F. for about 50 minutes.
