Veva’s Cranberry Cake

Ingrients & Directions


2 tb Butter
1 c Sugar
1 c Milk
2 c Flour
1 tb Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Vanilla
2 c Whole cranberries; raw

-BUTTER SAUCE-
1/2 c Butter
1 c Sugar
3/4 c Half and half cream

So I’m sending along some of favorite foods my Mom used to fix in the 40’s
and 50’s. Her name is Veva.

Mix in order given. Bake in a greased 9×13 inch pan for 30 minutes at 350
F. When ready to serve top with the following sauce:

BUTTER SAUCE: Heat all together on medium heat until butter is melted.
While warm, pour over a cut piece of cake and serve immediately.
