2 tb Shortening 1 ts Vanilla
1 c Flour 1/2 c Chopped nuts
1 Square of chocolate 3 tb Cocoa
1/2 ts Salt 1/2 c Sugar
3/4 c Sugar 1/2 c Brown sugar
2 ts Baking powder 1 c Cold water
1/2 c MILNOT
Melt shortening with chocolate. Then sift flour, salt, sugar, baking
powder and then add milk, vanilla and nuts. Fold in chocolate
mixture. Put in 6 inch loaf pan. Combine cocoa, white sugar and brown
sugar and shake over the cake. Then cover the cake with cold water
and bake about 1 hour at 325 degrees. Serve warm or cold with
