Devil’s Food Pound Cake

Ingrients & Directions


1 Pack Devil’s food cake mix
1 Pack chocolate instant
Pudding
1/2 c Crisco or Puritan oil
1 1/4 c Water
4 Eggs

Preheat oven to 350. Generously grease & flour pan. Blend all
ingredients in large bowl; beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Bake
at 350. Cake is done when toothpick inserted near center comes out
clean. Cool cakes 15-20 minutes in pan, then remove from pan & cool
top side up. Frost when fully cooled. GLAZE: Heat 2/3 cup favorite
frosting in small saucepan over medium heat, stirring constantly,
until thin. Pour glaze over cake.

TO BAKE: 2 8″ round pans 45-50 minutes 2 9″ round pans 40-45 minutes
1 13″ oblong pan 50-55 minutes
