Fabulous Funnel Cakes

Ingrients & Directions


1 1/4 c Flour
2 tb Sugar
1 ts Baking powder
1/4 ts Salt
3/4 c Milk
1 Egg, beaten
Oil
Powdered sugar

Combine dry ingredients. Combine milk and egg and add to dry ingredients
mixing until smooth. Use a 3/8″ to 1/2″ funnel; fill with 1/4 cup batter,
holding finger over bottom. Place funnel near oil, remove finger and pour
batter into 1″ of hot oil using circular motion to form 4″ spiral. Fry
until golden brown, turning once. Drain on paper towels, sprinkle with
powdered sugar or top with pie filling.
