Ingrients & Directions


1 pk Betty crocker date bar mix
2/3 c Hot water
3 Eggs
1/4 c Flour
3/4 ts Baking powder
2 tb Light molasses
1 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Nutmeg
1/4 ts Allspice
1 c Chopped nuts
1 c Raisins
1 c Red/green candied cherries

Heat oven to 325F. Grease & flour 9 x 5 x 3 loaf pan. Combine date bar mix
and water until crumbly. Add eggs, flour, baking powder, molasses & spices.
Fold in nuts & cherries; pour into pan. Bake 80 minutes or until toothpick
comes out clean. Cool.
