Mom’s Majong Applesauce Cake

Ingrients & Directions


15 oz. Jar Applesauce
Lime Jello (3 oz. box)
Raspberry Jello (3 oz. box)
18 x Double Graham Crackers

Put lime and raspberry jellos in separate bowls. Add 3/4 cup applesauce to
each flavor of jello and stir till thoroughly blended. On a platter, place
2 double graham crackers, end-to-end. Spread with 1/4 cup lime jello
mixture. Top with layer of graham crackers and spread with 1/4 cup
raspberry jello mixture. Repeat layers, ending with graham crackers.=14
TOPPING: =141 Envelope Dream Whip Whipped Topping Mix, 3 T Confectionary
Sugar, 1/4 t Almond Extract.=14Prepare whipped topping mix as directed on
package, however, omit vanilla and add almond extract and confectionary
sugar. Spread over top and sides of loaf. Chill at least 30
minutes.=14VARIONATION: Instead of using above topping, wrap loaf in
plastic wrap to keep together, and then frost with Cool Whip before
serving.=14TIP: Cut slices on diagonal to serve. It looks prettier when you
do this.
