Ingrients & Directions
1 c Butter or margarine; soft
1 c Granulated sugar
1 c Brown sugar, firmly packed
2 Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Sifted all-purpose flour
1 ts Soda
3/4 ts Salt
3 c Quaker Oats, uncooked
— (quick or old-fashioned)
6 oz Semi-sweet chocolate pieces
1/2 c Chopped walnuts
Beat butter and sugars together until creamy. Blend in eggs and
vanilla. Sift together flour, soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture;
blend well. Stir in oats, chocolate pieces, and walnuts.
Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cooky sheets. Bake in preheated
moderate oven (375 F) 10 to 12 minutes.
