1 c Raisins 1 ts Cinnamon
1/2 c Chopped apples 1 ts Baking soda
1/2 c Margarine 2 ea Eggs
1 c Quick cooking oatmeal 1 ts Vanilla
1 c Flour
Preheat a 350 degree oven. In a small saucepan, combine raisins,
apples and 1 cup of water cook for 3 minutes, add margarine and let
cool. In a mixing bowl, combine oatmeal, flour, cinnamon, baking
soda. Add the raisins mixture to the dry mixture. Add eggs and
vanilla, mix well. Drop by rounded spoonfulls on greased baking
sheet. Bake for 12 minutes.
Note: For fat free substitute for the margarine add 1/2 cup
applesauce.
