Ingrients & Directions
2 Eggs — separated
1 c Brown sugar
1 c Flour
1 ts Cinnamon
1/4 ts Salt
1/2 ts Ground cloves
1/4 ts Black pepper
1/4 ts Baking soda
1/4 ts Baking powder
1 c Raisins & nuts
Beat eggs whites and yellows seperately. Then beat together. Add
sugar & mix well. Sift dry ingredients & add to eggs. Stir in raisins
and nuts. Add more flour if needed. The dough should be stiff. Drop
by tbsp onto greased sheet. Bake at 375 for about 7 mins.
Makes about 5 doz.
