Gum Drop Cookies

Ingrients & Directions


1 c Margarine
3/4 c White sugar
3/4 c Brown sugar
2 Eggs,unbeaten
2 c Rolled oats
3/4 c Coconut
1 pk McCorkmick’s baking gums,cut
Fine
1/2 c Chopped nuts
3/4 ts Grated lemon rind
1 ts Vanilla
2 c Sifted flour
1 ts Salt
1 ts Baking soda
1 ts Baking powder

Combine margarine,skugars,eggs,lemom rind and vanilla and beat
thoroughly.Sift floiur with salt,baking powder and soda.Add to
margarine mixture and mix well.Add rolled oats,coconut,baking gums
and nuts.Mix thoroughly.Drop by teaspoonfuls onto greased cookie
sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
