White Sugar Cookies^

Ingrients & Directions


1 c Butter
1/2 c Lard
1 1/2 c Sugar
1/2 c Sweet milk
2 Eggs
1/2 ts Baking soda
1 ts Baking powder
4 c Flour

Cream the butter, lard and sugar. Add the milk and eggs; beat well.
Sift the flour with the baking soda and baking powder. Gradually add
the flour mixture to the sugar mixture. Be sure to add just enough
flour to make a soft dough. Roll out on a floured surface until thin.
Cut out with a cookie cutter or biscuit cutter. Bake at 375 degrees
for about 8 minutes.

and all.
