1 c Butter
1 c Sugar
1/2 c Brown sugar
2 Eggs
1 tb Water
1 ts Vanilla
3 c Flour
1 ts Soda
1/2 ts Salt
16 oz Chocolate mint wafers (not
-filled mints)
Nut halves (optional)
Preheat oven to 350?. Cream butter, add sugars, eggs, water and vanilla.
Sift flour with soda and salt. Add to creamed mixture a little at a time,
beating on low. Chill dough. Wrap 2 mints in dough to cover. Put walnut or
pecan half on top. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until golden brown. Yield:
8 dozen.
