2 c Flour
2 ts Baking Soda
1 c Sugar
3/4 c Brown Sugar
2 lg Eggs
1 ts Vanilla
1 c Dry Oats
1 c Peanut Butter
1 pk Chocolate Chip (Or More If
-Desired)
1 c Chopped Pecans; Note
Beat together the shortening, sugars, and eggs until fluffy. Blend in
peanut butter and vanilla. Add dry ingredients. Stir in chocolate chips.
Roll into small balls and place on ungreased baking sheet. Flatten with a
glass dipped in sugar. Bake at 350 degrees approximately 8 minutes.
NOTES : Note. The original recipe did not call for nuts, I love nuts in
cookies so I added them. They are great
