1/2 c Butter
1/2 c Shortening
1 1/4 c Sugar
1 Egg
1 ts Vanilla
2 1/2 c Flour
1/2 ts Salt
1 c Choc. chips
1/2 c Broken pecans
1/2 c Flaked coconut
1/2 c Chopped marachino cherries
Icing:
1 c Powder sugar
1/4 ts Almond extract
2 tb Marachino cherry juice
Beat butter, sugar and shortening until fluffy.Beat in egg and vanilla.
Sift dry ingrdients and blend in.Dough will be stiff. blend in chocolate,
nuts and fruits. Press into a grease 10 x 15 x 1 pan. bake 350 for 20
minutes or done. Cool to warm and spread on icing. Cut when warm and recut
when cool.
