Ella’s Fudge

Ingrients & Directions


2 c Sugar
2/3 c Evaporated milk
12 Marshmallows
1/2 c Butter
Few grains salt (optional)
1 pk (6-oz) semi-sweet chocolate
-chips (or butterscotch)
1 c Chopped nuts
1 ts Vanilla

Mix in heavy 2-quart saucepan sugar, milk, marshmallows, butter and salt.
Cook, stirring constantly, over medium heat and bring to heavy boil. Boil 5
minutes. Remove from heat and stir in chocolate chips until melted. Add
nuts and vanilla. Spread in 8-inch square pan. (Christmas is not complete
without Ella’s fudge!) Makes 30 pieces.
