Grandma Welty’s Fudge

Ingrients & Directions


2 1/2 c Sugar
3/4 c Evaporated milk
2 c Semi sweet chocolate chips;
-(12 oz pkg)
1 c Marshmallow creme; (4 oz.)
1 c Coarsely chopped walnuts
1 Stick butter
1 1/2 ts Vanilla extract; (pure)

Combine sugar and evaporated milk in large, heavy saucepan. Bring to a soft
boil and boil for 9 minutes. In a large glass bowl combine chocolate chips,
marshmallow creme and walnuts. Pour sugar and milk mixture over all and
stir well. Add butter and vanilla extract. Beat with wooden spoon, digging
all the way down to the bottom, till smooth, shinyand well combined. Pour
into lightly buttered pan. Cool at room temperature until firm.
