Sweet Tater Pie

Ingrients & Directions


2 c COOKED SWEET TATERS, MASHED 1 ts NUTMEG, GROUND
1 c BROWN SUGAR 1 ea 11 INCH UNBAKED PIE SHELL
1 c LIGHT CREAM 2 c SOUR CREAM
1/2 c MILK 1/4 c SIFTED CONFECTIONERS SUGAR
3 EGGS 1/2 ts VANILLA EXTRACT
1/2 ts SALT 1/2 ts GINGER, GROUND
1 ts CINNAMON, GROUND

Combine Sweet taters, Brown Sugar, Cream, Milk, Eggs, Salt, Cinnamon,
Nutmeg and Ginger in a large mixing bowl. Pour into pastery shell.
Bake in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for 1 hour or until a knife
inserted in the center comes out clean. Cool on rack. Mix Sour
Cream, Convectioners Suger and Vanilla, spoon around the outside edge
of the pie to decorate.
