1 9-inch unbaked pie shell
30 Caramels
3 tb Water
5 lg Apples
1/4 c Flour
1/2 ts Cinnamon
1 ds Nutmeg
1/4 c Sugar
1/3 c Butter
1/2 c Chopped walnuts
Melt caramels with water in saucepan over Low heat, stirring occasionally
until melted. Peel and core apples. Slice half the apples into pie shell.
Pour half the caramels over apples. Repead with apples and sauce. Mix
flour, spices and sugar in small bowl with butter until crumbly. Stir in
nuts. Sprinkle over pie. Bake at 375 F. for 45 minutes. Lansing CityLimits
