Quick Peach Pie

Ingrients & Directions


1 Frozen; (12-inch) pie dough,
; defrosted
2 tb Flour
1 tb Light brown sugar; packed
3 Fresh peaches; peeled,
-halved, and
; pits removed
1/2 Lemon; Juice of
3 tb Light brown sugar; packed
1 tb Unsalted butter; chilled and
-cubed

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.

Place the defrosted pie dough onto a baking sheet and set aside.

In a large bowl mix together 2 tablespoons flour, and 1 tablespoon light
brown sugar, packed.

Toss 3 fresh peaches, peeled, quartered, and pits removed the juice of 1/2
lemon and 3 tablespoons light brown sugar, packed. Toss until peaches are
coated.

Sprinkle the flour and sugar mixture around the center of the piecrust
leaving a border around the edge.

Place peach quarters in the center of the piecrust, leaving a 4-inch
border.

Sprinkle 1 tablespoon chopped chilled unsalted butter over the peaches.

Fold the edges of the dough over the peaches creasing the dough uniformly.

Bake pie at 400 degrees for about 35 minutes. Cover the pie with foil
halfway through baking if it is browning too quickly.

Serve warm with vanilla ice cream.
